Situated in Wolverhampton, Topaz House is a caring residential setting built to offer a therapeutic, environment for up to three young people.
Supported by our dedicated in-house clinical psychology team, we provide comprehensive guidance for both children and staff, including:
Completing detailed initial assessments when required
Offering staff consultations and clinical supervision within regular team meetings
Leading the creation and delivery of therapeutic care plans and behaviour support strategies
Observing children’s behaviour and daily interactions with staff
Providing remote clinical advice when needed
Delivering direct or indirect therapeutic sessions based on each child’s individual needs
Supplying specialised support for those with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioural challenges
Therapeutic parenting is at the heart of our care approach. All staff receive training in models such as PACE during induction, with ongoing development throughout their employment to ensure consistently trauma-informed, high-quality care.
Emerald House offers support to children and young people aged 8–18 who present with emotional or behavioural needs, often linked to complex trauma or attachment difficulties. Accommodating up to three residents, we welcome boys and girls who benefit from stable routines and compassionate support.
Our mission is to create positive change by helping young people understand their past, build resilience, and gain the skills they need for their future. Whether they move on to family reunification, fostering, or independence, we are there to guide and encourage them.
At the centre of our work is empowering children to make healthy, confident choices. Through engaging activities, personalised reward systems, and nurturing relationships, we help each young person form meaningful connections and move toward a brighter future.
