Celebrating Together: Why Events Matter at Stepping Stones Care
At Stepping Stones Care, we believe that childhood should be filled with moments of joy, laughter, and shared experiences. Celebrations aren’t just about decorations, sweets, or costumes, they’re about building trust, forming real bonds, and creating memories that help children feel valued, included, and understood.
Seasonal events like Halloween and Bonfire Night give our children the chance to express themselves, explore their creativity, and simply have fun in a safe and supportive environment. These moments help strengthen relationships between young people and our carers.
Pumpkin Competition Fun! 🎃
This Halloween, we ran our very own Pumpkin Competition, and the children absolutely rose to the challenge. Some designs were spooky, some funny, and some incredibly detailed, every pumpkin told a story. The creativity was incredible!
The winner was over the moon, earning a special trip to Scare Fest, somewhere they had really hoped to go. Their excitement and pride showed exactly why events like this matter. It wasn’t just about winning; it was about being seen, heard, and supported.
Laughs, Sweets & Making Memories
Of course, no Halloween is complete without treats. Everyone enjoyed plenty of sweets, lots of giggles, and a night full of fun. More importantly, the children shared the experience together, building confidence, friendships, and positive memories that help them feel safe and settled.
